Background
A proud graduate of Trinity Law School and an Orange County native who focuses her career on helping families navigate the complexities that relate to family law. Lisa's compassion for families and her desire to ensure that her client's are treated justly are unmatched.
Ms. Thornton was a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children) and continues her advocacy for foster youth by sitting on the Board of the Eddie Nash Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower foster youth, through collaborative efforts with community partners and creative programming, with the essential skills they need to live independent, productive lives once they are emancipated.
Lisa has 20 years of experience in planning and has volunteered in community activities involving preserving the family unit and community. "Clients are experiencing a loss and it is my job to assist them in letting go of the past and moving forward toward a positive future. My personal mission is to encourage and advocate for them through their divorce and custody issues and design strategies for them to come out positive on the other side."
